If you are experiencing a Mental Health emergency, you may contact Clarion County Crisis Intervention Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Call the Clarion County Crisis Intervention Line at (814) 226-7223 any time of the day or night, if you are experiencing: depression, feelings of wanting to hurt yourself or others, feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness or that no one cares about you, being under considerable stress, feeling uncontrollably angry or suffering from some other emotional, mental or substance abuse crisis. Professional staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to talk with you and to help you with your problems including obtaining necessary services promptly.

Clarion County Crisis Intervention Services promote growth, empowerment and recovery. The primary goal of Crisis Intervention is to provide effective, appropriate emergency mental health services utilizing the least restrictive alternative to meet the mental health needs of our consumers. We provide walk-in crisis counseling, telephone crisis line and mobile crisis intervention and mental health assessment services. We provide 24-hour emergency mental health services and assist with facilitating inpatient admissions, both voluntary and involuntary, as needed.

The Clarion Psychiatric Center, a for-profit inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adolescents, adults, geriatric and dually diagnosed (MH/MR) persons, provides free, confidential assessments, evaluation, and level of care determination 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They can be reached by contacting Clarion on Call at (800) 253-4906.

If you are a member of the Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (CCBHO) and are experiencing a mental health or substance abuse-related emergency, you can also call (800) 553-7499, and Member Services will assist you with accessing appropriate services.
